Food Festival is Denmark's largest food festival  

Over three days, 30,000 happy festival-goers celebrate the good meal at Tangkrogen in Aarhus. Over 250 dedicated food businesses, producers, food artisans, associations and organizations join forces to create a colorful universe of flavors.

Here, guests can explore the many facets of food – from the small everyday touch to the sublime art. Of course, it is teeming with delicious tastings, but Food Festival also offers a wide range of activities and workshops that surprise, entertain, provide new experiences and teach new skills in the kitchen. 

Tangkrogen's 50,000 m2 provides space for more than 250 unique experiences and ensures that children, adults, young and old and food enthusiasts can have an exciting and eventful day at Food Festival.

Mission and vision statements

Our mission statement is to convey and improve the attitude towards the quality of our food. The communication enlightens guests about the understanding of ingredients, cooking techniques and meals. 
 
The festival offers experiences that emphasise the importance of eating new, different and sustainable. Food Festival gathers the most significant chefs, producers and food experts.

Food Festival aims to create national awareness of the high level and great potential inherent in Denmark's quality ingredients and production methods.

The vision statement is to be Denmark's largest food event – for the general public and the food industry.

The organization behind Food Festival 

Food Organization of Denmark (FOOD) is the organization behind Food Festival. FOOD is a non-profit organization that works to ensure, that works to make Danish gastronomy a path to growth, development, and experiences

This is achieved through food experiences, communication, and the development of projects benefiting the entire value chain in the food industry.
